The workhorse of the ship is Paula's Pantry, a coffee shop that also has smoothies and pastries in the morning, cold sandwiches at lunch and the afternoon. This became our favorite spot for a morning flat white (two shots, please) and muffin. If you don't want a grab and go option, the main restaurant has breakfast and lunch buffets, with daily menu items available. What you do have on the Antarctica voyages are lectures about topics such as penguins, whales, history and geography from the expedition staff. The Epicurean Expedition sailings in the Med bolster time onboard with cooking demos from guest chefs -- some of whom you've seen on TV -- and at least one complimentary port event that's themed to the area's food and wine. Each Superior Suite has private, step-out balcony (accessed from either the bedroom or the living room) and 2 TVs. Atlas worked with Rolls-Royce to develop hybrid engines that don’t rely on the use of heavy fuels and anchorless positioning that doesn’t harm marine life. French Balcony cabins (Horizon/Infinity Stateroom) are sized 270 ft2 (25 m2) and feature a floor-ceiling glass wall with a slide-opening window (upper panel). Mystic Cruises is a new brand owned by the Portuguese entrepreneur Mario Ferreira - president of Mystic Invest SGPS (group of companies) and best known as CEO of the Portuguese river cruise company Douro Azul, operating on Douro River roundtrips from Oporto. Mario Ferreira is also famous for being Portugal's first space tourist (traveling on Virgin Galactic's Spaceship One / owned by Richard Branson). My take on the included drinks menu is that it offers a nice mix of options and is appropriate for a line at Atlas' price point.

A panoramic picture window offers endless views of the horizon as you enjoy the many amenities of the Adventure Oceanview Stateroom, including a sitting area, spa bath and more. The Horizon Deluxe stateroom delivers impressive views and refreshing ocean breezes from its floor-to-ceiling windows with a top-drop Juliette balcony.
Porto, the main restaurant aboard the ship, is inspired by the Atlas Ocean Voyages’ Portuguese heritage and provides indoor and al fresco dining options. An additional speciality menu named Alma featuring traditional Portuguese cuisine is available on alternating nights in Porto. Decks five and six also feature the Horizon staterooms and Veranda staterooms, both offering a living space of 270ft² (25m²).
